Earlier this month a giant land locked whale art installation was installed at a Salt Lake City, Utah roundabout on 9th and 9th. Some residents weren’t happy.

local resident and media personality showing opposition to the whale.

After opposition from the residents of the 9th and 9th roundobout, the giant land locked whale was replaced with something people hate less…. A giant peep.

“I like the whale and I will block any changes faster than a new SLC homeless shelter” said Mayor Mendenhall

Despite Mendenhall’s wishes, the whale was destroyed by The Easter Bunny and a giant Marshmallow Peep replaced it.

"I hate peeps, but I that hate the whale more, and this is a step in the right direction" Said SLC resident Harry Peters.

This peep will melt by summer and residents will find something more seasonally appropriate.
